Refugee today, diplomat tomorrow?

Refugees who come to Europe and into Germany will leave traces – across bordes and across times. If they are welcomed and integrated they can be a chance for building peace, for many reasons.

One of them being that they can moderate between cultures and sets of values – understanding both, their home culture, and the culture they have chosen to be their second home.

If they can develope good relationships in their new surroundings, they will create understanding for vice versa relations, old and new homes, as many European emigrants to the US did after WW 2, such as Henry Kissinger or Madeleine Albright. They are a chance for good foreign policy in future, and a chance for better relations between countries.

Just see her story!
