Change needs time

The Eurovision Song Contest will be a real challenge for Baku and for the state of Azerbaijan.

The big wave of negative reports about Azerbaijan seem to be aimed at Human Rights. Yes, there is still a lot to be done. There is a different understanding of Human Rights in Baku, there is a different idea about the individual and the state. And about other topics.

It should be remembered, that post-sovjet states have a greatly different history from the developments in Western Europe and in the US. They are slowly on the way to Europe, but have not arrived yet.
