Nuclear wastes – where will you go?

Yesterday it was a big headline, today there is not a trace left – or is there? Nuclear wastes have no real place to go to in Germany, no safe storage, no desert and no remote caverns. But even in those places nuclear wastes cannot be stored safely.
Still, there are a few countries in Europe that do business storing wastes, even nuclear ones.
Only a year or two ago the government in Finland decided to build a large storage for nuclear wastes. When they were asked if they approved of nuclear energy , their answer was: We have the choice of either getting more gas from Russia and depend on them, or to build nuclear power plants. And we rather go for the nuclear option!
That is why they are building a big place for nuclear wastes. Interesting answer, isn’t it?
